All fencers registered with HFC and fencing under the HFC name will be expected to own all their kit ready for the start of the new season on September 1st 2025.
The exemptions to this rule are:
Those fencers who are enrolled on a listed HFC beginners course ( Adult or Cadet)
Cadet fencers who have registered on novice sessions ( juniors only) .
Senior fencers who are on the adult beginners course . We will extend the kit loan rule for 6 months after the end of the final adult beginners session.
Those fencers who are doing their first competition.
There is an expectation that whilst the beginners and novices have can borrow the kit, fencers who have been fencing for more than 6 months or who go to regular competitions must be self sufficient in terms of approving clothing . This needs to be clothing for the level that they are competing at. If fencers want to use club kit then there will be kit hire charge payable before the kit is taken. Please see the hire chart.
